RODAC Development & Construction LLC is a Wisconsin-based construction and development company dedicated to community enhancement through the development of high-quality places to eat, shop, work and receive care. RODAC specializes in high-end medical facilities, industrial, franchise and specialty retail, commercial buildings and land development.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Assistant to join our team. This position will work closely with our accounting and finance team to support day-to-day accounting functions while also providing general administrative support to the office.

The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, comfortable working with numbers, and willing to assist wherever needed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and customer billing.
  • Process daily deposits and accurately apply receipts to customer accounts.
  • Monitor and organize the accounting department’s email inbox and process vendor invoices in a timely manner.
  • Review and reconcile A/P invoices to ensure accurate payment processing.
  • Assist with reconciling company credit card statements and reviewing transactions for accuracy.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and help resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain organized accounting records and filing systems.
  • Assist with preparing financial reports and other accounting documentation.
  • Help update and document accounting processes and procedures.
  • Greet customers, vendors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and route information to the appropriate team members.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Previous Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work accurately and maintain confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Quick Books experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively.
  • Positive, professional attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
