RODAC Development & Construction LLC is a Wisconsin-based construction and development company dedicated to community enhancement through the development of high-quality places to eat, shop, work and receive care. RODAC specializes in high-end medical facilities, industrial, franchise and specialty retail, commercial buildings and land development.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Assistant to join our team. This position will work closely with our accounting and finance team to support day-to-day accounting functions while also providing general administrative support to the office.
The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, comfortable working with numbers, and willing to assist wherever needed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and customer billing.
- Process daily deposits and accurately apply receipts to customer accounts.
- Monitor and organize the accounting department’s email inbox and process vendor invoices in a timely manner.
- Review and reconcile A/P invoices to ensure accurate payment processing.
- Assist with reconciling company credit card statements and reviewing transactions for accuracy.
- Reconcile vendor statements and help resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain organized accounting records and filing systems.
- Assist with preparing financial reports and other accounting documentation.
- Help update and document accounting processes and procedures.
- Greet customers, vendors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and route information to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to other departments as needed.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Previous Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately and maintain confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Quick Books experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively.
- Positive, professional attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
