Accounts Payable Specialist

Green Bay Packaging is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will process high-volume vendor invoices, match POs and receipts, and ensure accurate coding and approvals. You will prepare payment runs, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies with purchasing, production, and suppliers. The position supports month-end close, audit requests, and adherence to internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices with accurate coding and approvals
• Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments
• Prepare and execute weekly payment runs and ACH/wire transactions
• Maintain organized AP records and support month-end close activities
• Assist with expense reports and compliance with company policies
• Collaborate with purchasing and manufacturing teams to resolve PO and receipt issues
• Monitor aging reports and support cash flow forecasting
• Support internal and external audits with AP documentation
