Bridge Construction Laborer

Job Summary

Walbec Group is a construction company providing engineering and construction services across the Midwest, including the design, construction, and rehabilitation of bridges and related structures.

• Support all aspects of bridge layout and construction, including concrete demolition, deck repair, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with site cleanup and general labor duties as directed by the foreman or management.
• Operate concrete vibrators, jack hammers, and mortar mixers on job sites.
• Travel to job sites throughout Wisconsin as needed.

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
• Ability to perform work in variable weather conditions and in dirty or dusty environments.
• Physical capability to perform demanding labor tasks.
• Member of a local labor union, or willingness to become one (union membership is not required prior to employment).
• Preferred: at least 2 years of bridge construction experience or background as a construction laborer.
