PositionExperienced Rotomilling Operators needed for seasonal spring work. Operators will handle various paving equipment, including large and small road milling machines, skid steers, and broom tractors.
Responsibilities- Operate equipment and machinery to mill and pulverize surfaces at construction sites and perform related cleanup.
- Work safely and effectively with one or several types of power construction equipment to minimize injury and property damage.
- Read and understand grade stakes, automated machine control cab displays, and specific plan grades as required.
- Maneuver machinery in tight quarters, around people, traffic, and utilities.
- Clean, maintain, and secure all equipment.
- Follow proper safety and incident reporting procedures.
- Assist with repairs as needed.
- Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
- CDL required.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Dependable and punctual with the ability to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
- Tolerance for variable weather conditions and dirty, dusty environments.
- Experience with mills, skid steers, and/or broom tractors preferred.
- Membership in the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member is required; union membership may not be required prior to employment.
