Construction Superintendent - Midtown Commons

Gorman & Company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for Midtown Lofts, a transformative two-phase affordable multifamily housing development in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and successful project delivery. What You'll DoLead all field operations from project startup through project closeout

Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, material deliveries, and construction sequencing

Drive project schedules in partnership with the Project Manager to ensure timely project completion

Maintain the highest standards of jobsite safety, quality, and organization

Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, and installation details to ensure compliance

Serve as the primary on-site representative for subcontractors, inspectors, and ownership teams

Manage project documentation, daily logs, punch lists, and turnover activities

What You'll Bring5+ years of construction superintendent experience, preferably in multifamily, affordable housing, or commercial construction

Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, and project scheduling

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals

Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling software

Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed for project responsibilities
