Every day is different: you'll be out in the field, working alongside contractors, ensuring projects are built correctly, and making real‑time decisions to help build and maintain the roads communities rely on.
Our Transportation team serves WisDOT, county and city clients throughout Wisconsin from our La Crosse, Green Bay and Brookfield offices. We are a full‑service, multi‑disciplinary team, performing award‑winning work in planning, design, survey, and construction.
Essential Duties- Contribute to WisDOT, County, and City transportation construction projects
- Conduct professional meetings including pre‑construction, public information and weekly construction meetings
- Perform civil engineering calculations; prepare engineering plans, designs and reports and construction oversight including inspection when needed
- Serve as a liaison with clients, government and regulatory authorities and contractors
- Deliver project documents within prescribed budgetary and time constraints while satisfying client requirements
- Develop and enhance client relationships and business growth
- Prioritize overall project management and ensure successful project delivery
- Assist with functional and detailed design of transportation and municipal infrastructure projects when in the office
Looking for a construction professional with strong problem‑solving ability and a collaborative mindset. Experience with WisDOT standards and Civil 3D is a plus, but not required. A proven track record and solid references are essential. This field‑based role involves travel to job sites. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
