Job Summary:
The Graphic Design Intern will support our marketing and communications team with a range of design projects throughout the summer. The primary focus of this internship will be the design and production of our annual report, with additional opportunities to contribute to advertising, digital campaigns, and reusable design templates.
This position will also be attending our summer marketing events. Event days may start early, run late, or happen on weekends.
Responsibilities & Duties:Annual Report (Primary Deliverable)
- Support the design and layout of the company’s annual report
- Translate written content and data into clear, visually compelling designs
- Apply brand standards consistently across pages, charts, and graphics
- Prepare files for both digital and print use
Advertising & Campaign Design
- Design ad boxes and creative assets as needed for marketing campaigns
- Support digital advertising, social graphics, and other campaign elements
- Assist with layout updates and design refinements based on feedback
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop required)
- Strong PowerPoint design skills and comfort working within presentation templates
- Understanding of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to take feedback and revise designs efficiently
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple design requests
- Ownership of a major design deliverable (annual report)
- Experience creating designs used in real marketing and communications materials
- Exposure to digital advertising and campaign creative
- Opportunities to build a strong, professional portfolio
- Experience working with brand standards and stakeholder feedback
- Mentorship from experienced marketing and creative professionals
