In addition to providing exceptional visitor experiences, this role serves as the on-site lead for Brand Ambassador staff during assigned shifts and community events, providing guidance, coordination, and support to ensure smooth operations and a consistently exceptional guest experience.

• Serve as the on-site lead for Brand Ambassadors during assigned shifts, events, and activations.
• Serve as the tourism brand ambassador and ensure all elements of our visitor center and mobile visitor center presence are on brand focusing on curating individualized memorable experiences providing a welcoming presence to all.
• Provide day-to-day direction and support to Brand Ambassadors, ensuring team members are prepared, engaged, and representing Discover Green Bay professionally.
• Greet customers and visitors with energetic community pride and acts as an irreplaceable resource for program attendees, walk-in visitors, telephone, and internet customers seeking information on the greater Green Bay area.
• Coordinate assignments and assist with shift flow to ensure efficient visitor center and event operations.
• Assist travelers in planning itineraries, routing logistics, locating lodging, recommending dining, and completing all other visitor requests.
• Address routine questions and operational concerns as they arise, escalating employee or guest issues to leadership when appropriate.
• Aid in planning and execution of all creative and logistical visitor center programming details including venue setup, breakdown, catering, audiovisual equipment, and guest accommodations.
• Deliver interpretive tours, demonstrations, and presentations that enhance visitor understanding and community appreciation of DGB and the Greater Green Bay community’s offerings.
• Elevate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements based on visitor feedback and attendance.
• Perform visitor center operations including stocking, cleaning, and organizing.
• Capture photos and video for events, promotions, advertising, and marketing.
• Implement efficient procedures and accurate reporting for visitor statistics, program attendance, information services, inventory, and retail operations.
• Produce content for all digital marketing channels, including but not limited to social media and destination blog in accordance with the overall marketing strategy.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of greater Green Bay’s tourism inventory including accommodations, retail, restaurants, attractions, events, exhibits, and related tourist services available.
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and professional appearance of oneself as well as the visitor center(s).
• Assist the Sales & Services Department with convention name badges and welcome packets.
• Advocate for the Greater Green Bay area and embrace the community’s visitors.
• Model Discover Green Bay's culture, professionalism, and guest service standards while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
