Architectural Designer – Jell Tech, Green Bay, WI
OverviewWe seek an individual with a collaborative spirit who can seamlessly work together with other top‑talented architects, engineers, designers, and drafters to advance our projects.
Responsibilities- Advance knowledge in the development and coordination of technical drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents while maintaining firm standards in project delivery.
- Lead product research, assist the team with material selection efforts, and coordinate with the specification writer.
- Create and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Revit software.
- Support the project architect and participate in internal and external design review processes.
- Possess knowledge of building codes, standards, and requirements.
- Complete tasks and responsibilities on projects in an organized, timely, and consistent manner, balancing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self‑check work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and proactively ask questions to clarify project assignments.
- Communicate effectively within a collaborative team setting.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project consultants, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing/fire protection engineers, and landscape architects.
- Conduct construction administration services, including on‑site construction meetings and observations, RFIs, submittal and shop drawing review.
- Minimum 5 years related experience.
- Experience with Revit and other BIM software.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Enscape and Lumion.
- Presentation software experience (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
A minimum of an Associate Degree in Architectural Technology from an accredited technical college.
