We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin covering 63 days, starting Apr 6, 2026. This position offers nocturnist 12-hour night shifts, with a flexible schedule of 7 to 30 shifts per month. The Hospitalist will manage inpatient care, new admissions, and emergencies in a dynamic hospital setting.

Hospitalist - Schedule:
7p-7a, 7 to 30 nocturnist shifts per month
- Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to patients admitted overnight
- Manage new patient admissions from the Emergency Department or other sources
- Respond to acute medical issues and emergencies during night shifts
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EHR system
- Coordinate care with nursing staff, social services, utilization management, and other interdisciplinary teams
- Work independently with limited ancillary support and specialist availability overnight
- Admit, follow, and manage all patients in the open ICU (no procedures required)
- Wisconsin medical license required
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
- Experience working independently and strong problem-solving skills preferred
