Job Requirements
In the absence of the regular teacher, or working collaboratively to co‑teach and provide instructional support to our students, this position provides quality instruction/supervision and maintains a classroom climate that will enable each student to master skills appropriate to his/her age, grade level, and individual capacity as well as to develop socially and emotionally.
Daily substitute rate is $160.00; long‑term assignments of six days consecutively or more are $190/day. Pay is reduced for less than a full‑day assignment.

Desired, Relevant Qualifications Such As Successful Prior Experience- Providing direct instruction to youth or community‑based experience working with youth and their families.
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrated empathy and compassion, and knowledge of content.
- Characteristics and skills necessary for potential successful employment with the District.

Other Experience and Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
