The Green Bay Public School District is pleased to accept applications for an Occupational Therapist position for the 2026-27 school year. School Occupational Therapists work with school staff, students, and parents to facilitate student participation and occupational performance in a variety of learning environments. Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction certification as an Occupational Therapist

Master's Degreee in Occupational Therapy from an accredited univeristy

  • Evaluates students, interprets evaluation findings as a member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team, and makes appropriate recommendations for services.
  • Based on individual evaluation and the IEP, develops and implements direct and indirect services for students.
  • Participates in the development of IEPs for students found to have a disability and attends IEP meetings and parent/teacher conferences.
  • Uses Assistive Technology to support student participation.
  • Develops individual intervention plans for all assigned students.
  • Observes student engagement and provides strategies and evidence-based therapeutic intervention to facilitate student participation and occupational performance with adaptations/modifications.
  • Strives to improve and optimize student performance in a variety of learning environments through adaptations/modifications.
  • Completes and maintains required records and/or documentation of services provided.
  • Teaches, monitors and collaborates with educational personnel, community agencies, parents, and students regarding occupational therapy and individual needs in order to increase understanding and student performance.
  • Provides continuing education and in-service for educational personnel.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
