Note
This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Teach a variety of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in financial planning and finance.
  • Prepare students to successfully achieve CFP® and other professional certifications in the financial planning industry.
  • Mentor students in the “transcripts to resumes” program.
  • Perform scholarly activities consistent with rank.
  • Perform institutional and community service.
  • Contribute to ongoing program development within the Austin

    E. Cofrin School of Business.
  • Participate fully in the Austin

    E. Cofrin School of Business’ AACSB accreditation efforts.
Required Qualifications
  • Doctorate/ABD status from an institution supporting an AACSB accredited business school, or Master’s Degree in Financial Planning/Finance or Business with a specialization in Finance plus 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching
  • Evidence of engagement in institutional, community, and professional endeavors.
Conditions Of Appointment

The home campus of this position is Green Bay, and the successful candidate may be required to teach an occasional course at the Sheboygan, or Manitowoc Campus. Courses will be taught both face-to-face and online (in asynchronous and synchronous formats). The specific courses taught may vary from semester to semester.

Positions are full-time, one academic year, Instructional Academic Staff appointments. A pre-employment education check which includes, but is not limited to, the verification of academic credentials will be conducted on the finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s).
