Position Title

Short‑Term Instructional – Communication & Information Science (Adjunct Instructor). Term:
July1,2026 to June
30,2027.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Preferred: Master’s degree).
  • Relevant teaching or professional experience in Communication & Information Science.
  • Strong oral, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Commitment to inclusivity, equity, and diversity.
Conditions of Appointment
  • Pre‑employment education check and criminal conviction investigation.
  • No H‑1B or other work‑authorization visa sponsorship; applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S. at hire and maintain authorization throughout employment.
Key Responsibilities

Respond to the general candidate pool for department positions and may be contacted when short‑term instructional openings become available. Expected to work inclusively, respectfully, and civically within a diverse campus community.

Benefits

Eligible positions receive a benefits package that includes health insurance (annual deductibles as low as $250/individual and $500/family), dental, vision, and supplemental life insurance options. Participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System with employer contributions beginning immediately and full vesting after five years. Paid leave, holidays, and vacation are granted as per the employment type.
