Position Summary
To provide programmatic, clerical, and administrative support to the site lead and instructional team.

August – June (Part-time);
Monday – Thursday; 3:30pm – 6:15pm (will work with daytime staff on start time) – Students will attend 3:59pm – 5:45pm
- Family, School, and Community Relationships – builds on respectful, reciprocal relationships across settings to promote optimal development for children, youth and families and to enhance the quality of after school and youth development.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with students, staff, and parents.
- Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Knowledge of scheduling.
- Experience in diverse urban communities.
- Knowledge of before/after or out-of-school type programs.
- Create a learning environment where students feel valued and eager to attend.
- Responsible for the collection of data; attendance, snack, grades, MAP and other assessments.
- Attend training functions related to the position
- Address concerns from parents, school day staff and Community Partners.
- Your supervisor is the Site Lead. Communicate with them effectively and daily.
- Process Registration/Enrollment Forms, check for signatures (on any paper registrations) and that it is complete, if not send back to parent.
- Send letter of confirmation to verify enrollment by email and follow up with phone calls.
- Create a file folder for all students.
- Enroll students in classes in Cayen/Pathwise per the Site Lead.
- Enter daily attendance. The Office of Extended Learning will be checking weekly to make sure attendance is entered.
- Provide weekly attendance sheets for all classes to the Site Lead.
- Communicate with Site Lead and parents about student absences, and follow any prescribed procedures related to absence reporting and recording.
- Communicate with Site Lead regarding weekly time sheet (for Extended Learning Substitutes).
- Sending out Memos/Letters to families
- Maintain notes on any activity you do regarding students, this includes behavior, contact with families etc.
- Use of Gmail calendar and shared google docs.
- Other duties as assigned by the Site Lead and/or Director of Extended Learning.
