Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong building automation and HVAC controls background to lead operational execution, technical teams, and service performance across mission‑critical cooling systems. This is a leadership role for someone who understands both field operations and advanced controls environments, with proven experience in HVAC controls, Tridium, and Niagara framework.

Role:
The Operations Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operational performance of technical teams supporting installation, commissioning, service delivery, troubleshooting, and customer success within mission‑critical environments. You will work cross‑functionally with engineering, commissioning, service, and project teams to ensure seamless execution while driving operational excellence, technical quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead operational delivery for mission‑critical HVAC and cooling projects across multiple regions.
• Manage and support field service, commissioning, and controls teams to ensure project execution and service excellence.
• Drive operational efficiency, workforce planning, resource allocation, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee startup, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and ongoing support for advanced cooling systems.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex HVAC controls and automation issues.
• Partner with engineering and project teams to improve operational processes and commissioning outcomes.
• Ensure projects meet quality, compliance, and safety standards.
• Monitor KPIs, service performance, customer SLAs, and operational metrics.
• Support talent development, coaching, and technical mentoring of field teams.

• Strong background in HVAC Controls / Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) – this is essential.
• Hands‑on experience with Tridium Niagara Framework and Niagara.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls architecture, BACnet, Modbus, and communication protocols.
• Chillers, CRAH/CRAC systems, pumps, cooling towers, and thermal management systems.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience working within data centers, mission‑critical facilities, hyperscale, healthcare, or industrial environments strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in operations leadership, service management, field management, or technical team leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced technical environments.
• Strong customer‑facing communication and stakeholder management.
