Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer - Turbo machinery - 1800 - VT

Relocation available

• The Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer will be doing mechanical design for turbo machinery parts and test rigs.
• They will be doing design from the ground up on for turbo pumps, gas turbines, hydroturbines, and other industry leading turbo machinery innovations.
• This position will ideally become the lead for the mechanical design team.

• 8+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer for manufacturing
• 8+ years of experience with FEA tools including stress, modal, and fatigue analysis
• Experience with ANSYS or similar design analysis software
• Experience with using GD&T to create and review manufacturing drawings
• US Citizen or permanent resident
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related

• Experience with turbo machinery design (highly preferred)
• Project lead/Project Management experience
