Job DescriptionAbout the Role Are you an Electrical Controls Engineer with a passion for Industrial Automation? Join our North America team and lead the electrical engineering portion of new equipment and TIPS/MODS (converting, packaging, and fold). You will be the technical lead for customizing hardware and software solutions while maintaining global standards.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- PLC/HMI Programming:
Design and develop software using Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens platforms. - Electrical Design:
Create job-specific electrical schematics and Bills of Materials (BOM) using E3, Promis, or Eplan. - Project Support:
Provide technical feasibility for Sales and resolve software/engineering issues for technicians. - Obsolescence Management:
Design and promote electrical upgrades for legacy platforms. - Field Interaction:
Travel up to 25% to customer sites for installations and design reviews.
Requirements What We're Looking For
Education:
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industrial experience.
Technical
Skills:
Deep knowledge of Electrical Control Packages (Rockwell & Siemens) and pneumatic systems.
Systems:
Proficiency in SAP and electrical schematic software (E3/Eplan preferred).
Soft Skills:
Strong root cause analysis, project management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
Previous experience in the Tissue/Converting industry is a major plus.
