We are working with a growing, family-oriented manufacturer that is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to its engineering team due to continued growth. This is a hands-on opportunity for an engineer who enjoys supporting new product launches, improving manufacturing processes, collaborating with production, and driving continuous improvement throughout the machining operation. This newly created position offers excellent visibility within the organization and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.

Responsibilities:

  • Support new product introductions and manufacturing process development.
  • Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and work holding solutions.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing standards.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, and Engineering to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support engineering changes, drawing reviews, and BOM updates.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Provide day-to-day engineering support on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Manufacturing engineering experience through internships or full-time employment.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Experience with Solid Works is preferred.
