Green Bay Packaging seeks a Process Engineer Co-op to support continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will assist engineers with data collection, analysis, and process trials on corrugated and paperboard production lines. Key tasks include mapping processes, supporting root cause investigations, documenting standard work, and helping implement safety, quality, and productivity improvements. Working on-site with cross-functional teams, you'll gain hands-on experience in a people-first, safety-focused, and sustainability-driven manufacturing environment with strong opportunities for learning and long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in analyzing production data to identify waste, variability, and bottlenecks.
  • Support trials and experiments on corrugated and paperboard lines to improve safety, quality, and throughput.
  • Document standard work, process changes, and work instructions for operators and maintenance.
  • Create and update process flow maps, layouts, and simple CAD or spreadsheets for process tracking.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to implement improvements.
  • Participate in safety observations and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for process and quality issues.
