Civil Engineering Intern

- Waterfront Infrastructure in Green Bay, WI or Madison, WI for Summer 2027. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll contribute to projects that strengthen Great Lakes ports, harbors, navigation systems, and waterfront facilities. You'll gain practical experience in waterfront inspections, hydrographic surveying, dredging support, construction observation, and engineering design while applying your classroom knowledge to infrastructure that supports commerce, navigation, and waterfront communities across the Great Lakes region.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work directly with team members on various project deliverables in the dredging, environmental permitting, civil and coastal engineering fields
- Conduct topographic & hydrographic surveys and 3D drone scans with certified team members
- Assist with structural inspections and construction oversight activities
- Support design work utilizing AutoCAD
- Prepare local, state, and federal permit documents
- Assist with data management and report preparation
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar engineering field from an ABET-accredited program
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
