Job DescriptionAECOMis actively seeking a talented
Environmental Remediation Team Leaderto join our team in Wisconsin. Make a positive impact on your community while working on rewarding projects that shape the future of environmental remediation!
This hybrid role (office and remote) offers the opportunity to collaborate across multiple projects and accounts to achieve strategic objectives. The position includes both internal and external-facing responsibilities, allowing you to apply and further develop managerial and client development skills. In this role, the selected candidate will also assist/lead project and program management with design and implementation of soil, groundwater, sediment and surface water investigative and remediation programs, data analysis, and report preparation.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Overseeing the preparation of work plans and organizing project studies.
- Interfacing directly with technical project managers and project teams to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Understanding and incorporating client requirements in the management of projects, including commercial contract terms, change management processes, financial performance KPIs, etc.
- Using client and AECOM-prescribed tools to track and manage financial aspects of projects.
- Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet budgetary objectives, while adjusting project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Wisconsin state regulatory requirements and environmental standards is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field AND 6years of relevant environmental remediation experience, including site investigation and remediation and/or a demonstrated equiveillancy of education and experiences.
- This role is subject to a background check and motor vehicle records check.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4years of experience in project management, including managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools and financial tracking systems.
10years of experience in site investigation and remediation.
- Professional certification preferred (e.g., Professional Engineer/Geologist, Chartered Engineer/Geologist, PMP, etc.).
- Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills for a wide variety of audiences.
- Experience successfully managing environmental projects for various types of clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
