Whether you're helping a customer find their next favorite game, teaching a new player how to get started, or assisting with one of our many in-store events, you'll play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

Location: Gnome Games Green Bay West

Hours: Full-Time (32-40hrs)

Pay: $14-$15 per hour, depending on experience and interview performance

Availability: Ideal candidates are available Thursday through Sunday evenings and closing shifts, though we are flexible based on the right candidate.

As a Retail Gnome, you'll take on a dynamic role that blends retail sales, customer service, event support, and community engagement.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, welcoming manner
• Recommend board games, trading card games, role playing games, and hobby products based on customer interests
• Learn product knowledge to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain a clean and inviting store environment
• Assist with receiving and organizing incoming inventory

• Help host and facilitate in-store events, tournaments, leagues, and community gatherings
• Welcome new players and help create an inclusive environment for all experience levels
• Answer questions about events, products, and store programs
• Assist with event setup, organization, and cleanup
• Help maintain a fun, engaging atmosphere during busy events and peak store hours

We're looking for someone who:

• Has retail or customer service experience (preferred)
• Has knowledge of or an interest in board games, collectible card games (CCGs), tabletop gaming, or related hobbies (preferred)
• Has experience hosting events, leading groups, teaching games, or working with communities (preferred)
• Brings high energy and enthusiasm to every shift
• Is reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Communicates clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
• Enjoys working as part of a team while also taking initiative independently
• Can confidently interact with and manage large groups of people during events
• Remains calm, organized, and customer-focused during busy periods
• Is eager to learn and grow within the hobby gaming industry
