Summary:
This position oversees the booking activities across
the Resch Center, focusing on maximizing revenue, enhancing the Resch
Center's regional and national reputation, and delivering a diverse,
high-quality calendar of live entertainment, sporting events, family
shows, and special events. This position develops and maintains
relationships with promoters, agents, producers, managers, tenants, and
other industry stakeholders while supporting administrative,
contractual, and operational aspects of event bookings. This position
reports directly to the Vice President of Events & Booking and plays a
key role in shaping the Resch Center's event portfolio, operational
readiness, and long-term business growth.
Job Duties:
Demonstrates and
embodies the PMI Entertainment Group Culture and Customer Service
values. Negotiate event lease agreements and booking terms in the best
interest of the Resch Center under the direction of the Vice President
of Events & Booking. Identify, pursue, and secure new booking
opportunities, including emerging event categories and underserved
markets. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with agents,
promoters, managers, producers, and other industry professionals to
generate and retain business. Actively promote all Resch Center spaces
and capabilities to maximize facility utilization and revenue
opportunities. Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and
competitive activity to develop strategies that attract new events and
expand the Resch Center's market presence. Participate in and lead bid
processes for high-profile events, including preparing proposals,
coordinating internal resources, and presenting to prospective clients.
Conduct Resch Center tours for prospective clients and communicate venue
capabilities, services, and event opportunities. Attend industry
conferences to gain knowledge and build relationships. Work with the
Resch Center's three main sporting tenants to develop schedules based
on contractual obligations. Together with the Vice President of Events &
Booking, manage the Resch Center booking calendar, including event
dates, holds, availability requests, and scheduling updates. Prepare and
maintain booking documentation, including deal points, contracts, lease
agreements, booking memos, confirmation memoranda, insurance
certificates, and related correspondence. Compile, organize, and
maintain event files containing all required booking, contractual,
insurance, and settlement documentation. Ensure the accurate flow of
information among internal departments and external stakeholders
throughout the booking process. Coordinate with other departments to
ensure successful event planning and execution. Build talent offers,
event estimates, event budgets, and financial projections for
prospective bookings. Research, prepare, and maintain reports,
presentations, historical records, spreadsheets, and other materials
related to booking activities and department initiatives. Provide
administrative support, including scheduling meetings and managing
confidential information. Collaborate with event organizers and internal
departments to ensure the successful execution of all booked events.
Monitor ticket sales activity, including on-sale performance, current
sales trends, and final attendance figures. Track and report event
financial performance, providing updates and analysis to executive
leadership. Assist with event settlements, forecasting, annual
budgeting, and revenue planning activities. Coordinate booking schedules
with Resch Center conversion timelines and operational requirements.
Identify periods of low facility utilization and develop strategies to
increase bookings and revenue generation. Attend live vents as needed,
representing the Resch Center and maintaining positive client
Relationships Before, During, And After Events. Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an
accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of
education and relevant experience. Must have eight to ten years of
previous experience in venue management, event booking, entertainment,
sports, hospitality, or a related field. Experience negotiating,
developing, and executing contracts and agreements. Knowledge of event
budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and event settlements.
