Position Summary

The Controller will play a critical leadership role within the finance organization, overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury functions, and financial management activities. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this individual will ensure the integrity of financial information, compliance with GAAP, and support strategic initiatives including tax planning and cash management. The Controller will lead and develop a large accounting team and serve as a key partner to senior leadership.

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial close processes
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Lead treasury and cash management functions, including liquidity planning, banking relationships, and forecasting
• Support and assist with tax planning strategies, compliance, and coordination with external tax advisors
• Establish, maintain, and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
• Manage and mentor a large accounting team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
• Partner with the CFO on financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Coordinate audits and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory inquiries
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and industry standards within the financial services sector

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Strong background in treasury operations, cash management, and financial management
• Experience assisting with or overseeing tax planning and compliance activities
• Proven experience managing and developing large accounting teams
• Prior Experience In a Financial Services Environment Strongly Preferred
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
