We are working on a Controller position for a national manufacturer in the Eau Claire area. The company has someone retiring after being there over two decades, so this is to replace them. This position will have a direct line to ownership and will be the most influential person on the accounting/finance team.

• Oversee operations of the accounting/finance department
• Maintain a system of internal controls over accounting transactions.
• Issue timely and complete financial statements to leadership
• Coordinate quarterly and annual reporting/close
• Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
• Coordinate capital project proposals
• Proactively provide in-depth analysis of product cost standards and actual results discussing reasons for results and methods to improve performance.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance, or related field
• 6+ years of accounting experience
• Prior leadership experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
