KBX is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Wichita, KS or Green Bay, WI. The ideal individual will possess excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills, have keen attention to detail, and show initiative. Additionally, they should be an active learner, adaptable to change, a team player, and a highly motivated individual ready to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.

Our Accounts Receivable team partners closely with multiple capabilities across the organization to deliver reliable and timely billing and dispute resolution to our customers. We are committed to developing and fostering mutually beneficial relationships to become the preferred partner for our customers and shippers.

What You Will Do
  • Review and generate invoices in various receivable systems
  • Ensure timely and organized invoice processing and filing
  • Maintain invoice status within databases to ensure the most up‑to‑date information is available
  • Assist with lease and maintenance receivable activities
  • Build strong, respectful partnerships and collaborate across multiple capabilities to reduce aged receivables
  • Research and resolve discrepancies or issues with invoices or payments
  • Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve outstanding issues
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and propose potential solutions
  • Apply Principle Based Management principles and mental models to foster a value‑creating environment
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to find and filter information
  • Experience with data review
  • Ability to collaborate well with others both internal and external to KBX
  • Experience identifying and raising opportunities for improved process
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience working in an Accounts Receivable or Accounting or Finance position
  • Experience processing, reconciling and managing invoices
  • Experience creating pivot tables in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience leveraging artificial intelligence to optimize and transform
