Registered Branch Associates are an essential part of the client team and work closely with a Financial Advisor to serve existing clients, provide a streamlined client experience, understand client motivations and goals, and accelerate trust within the branch team.

Training & Support
  • Training which may include mentoring, job shadowing, coaching, and branch office visits

Key Responsibilities
  • Deepen relationships with existing clients
  • Gather information and collect suitability data to open new accounts
  • Research portfolio performance, costs, fees, asset allocation, and changes to portfolio construction; make recommendations to the Financial Advisor and communicate to clients on behalf of the Advisor when recommended.
  • Execute Financial Advisor solicited buy/sell orders and confirm with clients
  • Answer general client questions regarding Edward Jones stock recommendations and withdrawals
  • Actively plan business activities and work as a team to continuously evaluate and execute branch strategies
  • Continuously develop professionally and personally

  • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving a wide variety of issues related to personalized investment solutions, involving the Financial Advisor when appropriate

Requirements
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent required;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3‑5 years of relevant experience in securities/financial services industry preferred
  • Series 7 and Series 66 required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned study period
  • FINRA registrations are required within three months;
    State insurance licenses are also required
