Finance Manager – Operations

The Finance Manager – Operations serves as the strategic finance business partner to Operations (manufacturing and supply chain) leadership, with direct accountability for operational financial performance across multiple plants (US and Canada). The role owns month‑end processes, analysis, forecasting, and reporting of cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory, and production‑related financial drivers. It actively influences decision‑making to optimize cost structure, cost per unit, efficiency, and profitability;

presents results to Senior Leadership and manages monthly internal reporting. The position also leads new product standard setting and annual cost roll, collaborating with Operations leadership for allocation and rate updates. The role champions data integrity, costing accuracy, reporting standardization, and continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and analytics to support scalable, best‑in‑class operations finance capabilities.

• Own and drive financial performance across manufacturing and operations, including COGS, inventory, and key cost drivers.
• Manage month‑end activities, reconciliations, reserve reviews, and COGS projections.
• Partner with Operations leadership to evaluate and improve cost structures.
• Lead the process of setting new product standards and annual cost rolls, including reviewing, analyzing, and maintaining allocations and rate updates.
• Champion data integrity, costing accuracy, reporting standardization, and continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and analytics.
