Role Description This full-time, on-site Mortgage Loan Officer role is based in The Greater Green Bay / NE Wisconsin area. The Mortgage Loan Officer will work directly with clients to assess their financial situation, recommend appropriate mortgage products, and guide them through the application, approval, and closing processes. Daily responsibilities include originating and managing loan files, collecting and reviewing documentation, collaborating with underwriting and processing teams, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations and company policies.

The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with real estate professionals, providing responsive customer service, and proactively communicating with borrowers about loan status and next steps.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Loan Officer or in a closely related lending role, with an understanding of loan origination processes.
  • Knowledge of the mortgage industry and mortgage lending practices, including familiarity with common loan products and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with underwriting teams, interpret lending guidelines, and ensure accurate and complete loan files.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and support clients through a stressful process.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
