Wealth Planning & Investment Analyst is responsible for planning and client service support to the Managing Director of Wealth Management, delivering comprehensive financial planning and investment strategies for ultra high net worth clients. The role involves gathering and analyzing client data, preparing financial plans and investment materials, and supporting team activities. The analyst will demonstrate proficiency with Nicolet s financial planning approach, software applications, methodology, and presentation standards, and will prepare financial reports, proposals, and client-ready presentations with appropriate discretion and judgment.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the Managing Director, Wealth Advisors, and Trust Administrative Officers to maintain investment strategies and asset allocations based on client circumstances, objectives, and risk tolerance.
- Assist in preparing paperwork and documents for client meetings.
- Attend client meetings when applicable and prepare summaries of notes.
- Analyze client information and prepare reports and presentations.
- Enter client data into financial planning software and prepare draft plans.
- Analyze asset allocation and assist in generating portfolio rebalancing trades.
- Research financial products, pricing, and contact carriers for information as needed.
- Research investment managers, services, and related pricing.
- Create custom spreadsheets to support analysis of purchase decisions or financial planning scenarios.
- Provide back-up client service support and deliver exceptional service during every interaction.
- Interface with broker-dealers or custodians to obtain information and data for service requests.
- Set up, run, and retrieve reports in the portfolio management system (e.g., Salesforce, Orion, Envestnet).
- Assist in generating client performance reports.
- Maintain internal client file accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Engage in teamwork and align with Nicolet s culture.
- Stay informed of market news, industry trends, and current legal and tax considerations related to investment decisions.
- Identify opportunities to refer business within the Bank, as appropriate.
- Comply with all regulatory rules and company policies.
- Uphold Nicolet s philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Promote diversity and inclusion and work respectfully with all colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Series 7 and 66 license preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Proficient in PC use, phone systems, and general office equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Working knowledge of investment and asset management strategies, products, and services.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to make sound decisions with limited direction while functioning as part of a team.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Resourceful and proactive problem-solving abilities.

- Working knowledge of bank products to support building full financial relationships with clients.
