The Member Relationship Officer creates a positive member experience by building strong relationships and providing exceptional service. This role assists members with consumer lending, account opening and maintenance, digital banking services, transaction processing, and problem resolution. The Member Relationship Officer identifies member needs, educates members on available products and services, and recommends solutions that support their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong member relationships through meaningful conversations and proactive service.
- Anticipate member needs and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
- Interview loan applicants, gather financial information, and support the underwriting process.
- Assist members with opening and maintaining deposit accounts and related services.
- Process member transactions and account maintenance accurately, efficiently, and confidentially.
- Troubleshoot account issues and provide timely resolution to member concerns.
- Educate members on loan protection products, insurance options, and other financial solutions.
- Achieve individual and team performance goals.
- Provide guidance on financial products and refer members to specialized teams when appropriate, including mortgage lending, investment services, financial wellness, and business banking resources.

- Minimum of one year of customer service and sales experience.
- Previous banking, credit union, or financial services experience preferred.
- Financial counseling or related certifications are a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and gain commitment to products and services.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional and member-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar software applications.
- Flexible schedule, including occasional Saturday availability.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Candidates with experience in banking, retail banking, consumer lending, branch operations, customer service, account management, or relationship management tend to be successful in this role. Experience opening accounts, processing transactions, and identifying financial solutions for customers is highly valued.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Green Bay, WI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $46000.00 - $54000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
