Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LCPC, LMSW, LPC)

Vital Core Health Strategies is hiring a full‑time Master’s Level Mental Health Professional to serve in the behavioral health unit at Dodge County Jail, Juneau, Wisconsin.

Base Pay Range: $33.00/hr – $38.00/hr.
Sign‑On Bonus: $3,500 at 3 months & $3,500 at 6 months.

Position Summary: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive, collaborative care for the inmate population.

Essential Functions:

• Provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes and ongoing evaluations, and consult with in‑house and community services.
• Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and collaborate with the medical team to determine treatment plans.
• Perform risk assessment, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams including medical staff, community providers, psychiatric hospitals, and corrections; plan discharge.
• Assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives.
• Prepare documentation, records, and reports.
• Utilize clinical skills such as prioritizing treatment needs, crisis management, brief interventions (CBT, Motivational Interviewing).
• Maintain excellent and timely documentation.
• Make independent clinical decisions, with supervisory input as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensed, Master’s Level Behavioral Health clinician (LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMSW, or equivalent).
• Graduation from a Master’s level program.
• Minimum of one year of social work experience in a public or private capacity.
• Successful background investigation.

Schedule: Full‑time.
