We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Green Bay, WI. The right US Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.
Responsibilities- Educate patients and/or patient’s family regarding procedures performed
- Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern
- Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound‑guided biopsies
- Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
- Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
- Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
- Must have 1 year of experience
- BLS certification
- ARDMS National Certification
- State‑specific licensing when required
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
