Position Summary

The Housekeeping Inspector ensures guest rooms meet Tamarack Resort's standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation. This role verifies room readiness and supports staff to maintain exceptional quality.

  • Inspect assigned rooms for cleanliness, proper setup, and supply levels.
  • Document deficiencies and verify timely corrections.
  • Report maintenance issues immediately.
  • Provide coaching and quality-check support for staff.
  • Inspect VIP rooms and special request accommodations.
  • Coordinate room readiness with other resort departments.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with cleaning when needed during high-demand periods.
  • Support laundry or public-area tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coach and support team members effectively.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift 20–30 lbs and push/pull carts.
  • Indoor work environment with some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
