Senior Operational Excellence Data Analyst

Responsible for achieving operational and functional targets through independent ownership of moderately complex projects directly impacting team and job family results. Works under limited supervision, defines project objectives, leads initiatives that support operational performance, and communicates with operational partners to enable effective execution and decision‑making.

• Develop and sustain an SFI Data & Operational Excellence culture, coaching partners on data‑driven decision making and Operational Excellence principles.
• Serve as bridge between Operations and Schreiber’s technical data teams, translating complex data into actionable insights for manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, packaging, and FP&A.
• Define, prioritize, and satisfy production data needs to support effective business decisions, applying Lean Six Sigma for cost, quality, and operational performance initiatives.
• Develop, standardize, and maintain data structures and pipelines for reliable data collection and KPI reporting.
• Explore, analyze, and model data to identify trends, root causes, and forecast performance, supporting proactive, data‑based decision making.
• Create and maintain clear, intuitive data visualizations (e.g., Power BI) and leadership dashboards to drive alignment and execution.
• Provide targeted training and enablement to build Operations’ capability to independently access, analyze, and visualize data.
• Collaborate across functions to promote best practices in data access, analytics, and KPI visualization, championing continuous improvement.
• Perform additional job‑related tasks as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations or related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing/operations, engineering, or related area with building and interpreting operational metrics, dashboards, and analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
• Knowledge or commitment to develop proficiency in a statistical programming language such as Python within 12–24 months.
• Experience in data collection, cleaning, and governance practices.
• Lean and Six Sigma disciplines knowledge.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate data into action.
• Ownership mindset; self‑started and servant leadership orientation.
• Desire to grow and take on new challenges and opportunities.
• Travel up to 40% of the time required; valid driver’s license and vehicle required.
