Role Summary
The Field Service Engineer provides hands‑on technical support by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting technology equipment across Associated Bank locations. This role plays a critical part in keeping our technology running reliably while partnering with colleagues to deliver exceptional service.
Key Accountabilities- Install and maintain computers, laptops, printers, IP phones, ATMs, digital signage, kiosks, and related technology equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and communication issues.
- Manage laptop deployments, equipment replacements, and technology inventory.
- Lead technology installation and relocation projects.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inventory audits.
- Partner with IT teams and business partners to resolve technical issues.
- Support executive meetings with audio, video, and presentation technology.
- Assist with technical documentation and training.
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Servicing, Network Servicing, or Electromechanical Technology.
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing PCs, laptops, servers, printers, and multifunction devices.
- 2+ years of experience supporting IP telephones, Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and Cat5e/Cat6 network cabling.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive.
- Ability to obtain HP, Data Card, and Lexmark service certifications within one year.
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Technical Writing.
- 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise hardware, Cisco networking equipment, Apple hardware, and technical documentation.
- 4+ years of experience supporting IP telephones, Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and Cat5e/Cat6 network cabling.
$19.66 - $33.70 per hour
