The Director of Sales & Service is responsible for leading and optimizing Capital Credit Union’s sales and service delivery across all member-facing channels. This role ensures a consistent, high‑quality member experience while driving sustainable growth through relationship‑based sales, coaching excellence, and operational effectiveness.
The Director partners with marketing, lending, operations, and digital teams to align strategies, improve performance, and deepen member relationships.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth while aligning with the credit union’s mission and values.
- Establish sales goals, KPIs, and incentive strategies that balance member needs and organizational objectives. (Partner with leaders across the Credit Union to define sales goals, KPIs, and incentive strategies that drive consistent performance and uphold our commitment to doing the right thing for our members.)
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure consistent, high‑quality service standards across branches and member service channels.
- Lead initiatives to enhance the end‑to‑end member experience.
- Coach and develop leaders and frontline teams to build a strong performance culture. (Develop and support leaders and frontline teams to strengthen performance and deliver exceptional member experiences.)
- Partner with Employee Experience on talent development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve processes and the member journey.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, service, or retail operations.
- Financial services or credit union experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading multi‑site or multi‑channel teams.
- Ability to travel as necessary. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Physical Requirements
- Office environment with moderate level of noise.
- Frequent use of telephone, copier, computer, fax machine and other office machines.

- Frequent mental and visual concentration.
- Minimal lifting of up to 25 pounds.
