- This position is primarily responsible for preparation and analysis of budget, finance management operations, and business information services operations for the Health & Human Services department, however will be cross-trained with other Brown County financial functions. The Health & Human Services department includes the Business Operations Division, the Community Treatment Center (Skilled Nursing Facility, psychiatric hospital, CBRF), a Community Services Division that provides county human services programs, and a Public Health division.
The work is performed under the direction of the Director of Administration, with additional operational direction provided by the Health & Human Services Executive Director.
- This position prefers a CPA and a Master’s degree in accounting or a business related field with a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in a pertinent setting; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. The ideal candidate will have successful management experience, solid communication skills, demonstrated skill at budget development and control, and a proven ability to work with others.
Prior Human Services experience in non-profit, government agencies or audit firms is desirable.
