KI, a world-class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Shear Operator to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 3rd shift. 3rd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $3.00. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment. To learn more about KI, please visit

• The shear operator is responsible for setting up the Haven Shear and End Finisher as well as making adjustments to ensure accurate product is being produced.
• Complete daily, safety inspections of the shear and end finisher.
• Cut the correct materials according to the shop orders.
• Change blades as necessary.
• Change and adjust machines based on tubing diameter and length.
• Transport bundles of steel tubing utilizing a hoist system.
• Perform multiple tasks to ISO Quality Standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Mechanically inclined with previous Manufacturing Experience, but not required.
• Communication Skills
• Computer knowledge
• Willingness to learn
• Must be able to take measurements by using the decimal system
• Ability to read KI print will be useful

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

This is a 3rd Shift position. Hours are 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday night through Friday. Morning Shift premium of $3.00/hour. Overtime during busy season.
