Welder

Description

The Door/Frame Welder is a Full‑Time or Part‑time position that will perform all welding necessary for the completion of the door orders. They will also be involved in the assembly and installation part of the door process as needed. The Welder must follow all processes and procedures that are set and comply with safety guidelines and practices.

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

• Weld frames for door systems and other specialty products/components where welding is required.
• Assemble and install various door and hardware components as needed.
• Pull component inventory for use in the orders that are being completed.
• Package products per procedures and prepare for shipment and delivery.
• Follow the cleaning schedule to maintain order and tidiness in the production area.
• Assist in periodic inventory counts as requested.
• Perform forklift operations as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year experience with MIG welding required.

• Forklift certification as requested.
• Knowledge of welding procedures.
• Organizational skills.
• Detail orientation.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
• Mechanical abilities.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Work under pressure.
