Wisconsin Building Supply operates locations throughout Wisconsin supplying windows, doors, roofing, siding, millwork, builders hardware, columns, trim, mouldings, cabinetry, countertops, decking, railing, gypsum, lumber & plywood, insulation, and additional building materials.

Door Assembler I Responsibilities
  • Work on a pre‑hung door assembly line.
  • Stock doors, frames, plates and other components for door assembly.
  • Assemble components under the direction of line leaders.
  • Load and band finished materials on carts or pallets inside and outside.
  • Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area.
  • Assist in setting up the component assembly process.
  • Monitor production workflow, assisting other areas as needed.
  • Operate all equipment necessary to the assembly process.
  • Adhere to established safety rules and maintain a safe environment.
  • Comply with the company’s attendance policy.
  • Empty trash receptacles and keep all bays and staging areas clean.
  • Provide excellent customer service and participate in a positive work environment.
  • Monitor inventory as required by location management.
  • Maintain awareness of the work environment to produce error‑free and damage‑free results.
  • Participate in and complete assigned trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Comply with all policies and standards, including the company’s commitment to workplace safety.
Education
  • High School or equivalent work experience required.
Experience
  • Prior carpentry experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
  • Read a tape measure and use a hammer.
  • Learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns.
  • Available for overtime as needed.
