Process Technologist
HiFyve is hiring a Process Technologist in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry in Green Bay, WI!
Salary: $90K + 5% Bonus

About the Role
This role supports product and process development from R&D through full-scale production, focusing on dairy manufacturing. You'll lead scale-ups, drive continuous improvement, and act as the key link between R&D and plant operations to ensure successful product commercialization.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance yield, quality, and cost efficiency
- Support product development by evaluating production feasibility and identifying risks
- Manage product scale-ups, line trials, and process changes across manufacturing
- Translate R&D formulations into production-ready processes and documentation
- Coordinate and execute benchtop, pilot, and plant trials
- Maintain technical documentation including specifications, formulations, and SAP records
- Support equipment validation, commissioning, and process optimization
- Identify cost savings, material improvements, and process efficiencies
- Collaborate with Quality on product testing, release, and compliance
- Communicate technical findings, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–6 years of dairy manufacturing or related food production experience
- Strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and dairy processing
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with plant operations and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (SAP preferred)
- Experience with lab and pilot-scale equipment
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams
- English fluency required
