Our client, a manufacturer specializing in pressure vessels and heat exchangers, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production of high-quality stainless steel and high alloy pressure vessels for industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Welder
Location: Green Bay, WI
Pay Range: $18 - $35
Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Fridays may be required for overtime as needed.
What's the Job?
- Perform high-quality welding and fabrication tasks on stainless steel and high alloy pressure vessels in an indoor shop environment.
- Handle layout, assembly, and construction of various projects, including small vessels, piping, and large heat exchangers.
- Utilize a range of welding processes such as TIG, MIG, and Flux Core, with openness to learning additional techniques like Sub Arc, RMD, Short circuit, Spray, and Pulse spray.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and protocols, especially when working in confined spaces or at heights.
- Interpret technical drawings and plans to accurately fabricate components, ensuring precision and quality in every project.
What's Needed?
- Willingness to learn and apply various welding processes, with a focus on safety and quality.
- Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
- Team player with effective communication skills and adaptability.
- Experience in pressure vessel or stainless steel welding is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
