Production Supervisor

Location: Green Bay, WI

Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually

Industry leading manufacturing company in the Green Bay, WI area is seeking a results-driven Production Supervisor with strong leadership skills to direct daily manufacturing operations. In this role, you will lead, mentor, and empower shift teams to achieve safety, quality, and output targets while driving continuous improvement on the shop floor.
This is a 1st shift M-F opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development:
  Lead by example to foster a safe, accountable workplace culture. Mentor team members, handle shift scheduling, conduct performance reviews, and resolve interpersonal conflicts promptly.
• Operational Execution:
  Direct daily shift activities to achieve performance targets (OEE, throughput, scrap reduction, on-time delivery) and collaborate with Quality and Maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:
  Apply root-cause analysis (e.g., 5-Whys) to address line disruptions, and utilize Lean methodologies (5S, Gemba walks) to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Enforce all safety protocols, conduct regular safety huddles, address hazards immediately, and ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

• Experience:
  
  3+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Leadership
  
  Skills:
  
  Proven track record of coaching employees, building high-performing teams, and driving shop-floor accountability.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, and manufacturing management software (ERP/MES).
• Communication:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage shop-floor teams and report to management.
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Management, or Engineering preferred.
