Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Fabricators and Welders located in Green Bay, WI. Team members will fabricate and weld components for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and related skid units according to drawings, specifications, and industry codes. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, performing various welding processes, fitting and assembling parts, and checking work for dimensional accuracy and structural integrity.

Fabricators and Welders will set up and operate shop equipment, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work area. The role involves collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve issues, support continuous improvement, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.

Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols; strong basic math and measurement skills.
  • Proficiency with common welding processes (e.g., SMAW, GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG) and experience in fabricating carbon and stainless steel components.
  • Hands-on skills in cutting, fitting, and assembling plate, pipe, and structural materials using tools such as saws, grinders, torches, and layout equipment.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety practices, proper use of PPE, and safe operation of shop equipment such as welding machines, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
  • Experience working to quality standards, preferably in ASME code environments, with the ability to perform visual inspections and adhere to procedures.
  • Effective communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a production environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding or fabrication technical program, apprenticeship, or relevant certifications is preferred.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, lifting materials as required, and working in a manufacturing shop setting.
