Skilled - Manufacturing Tech

Position Title:

Manufacturing Tech Wage: $30.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours:

6:45am-3:15pmQPS Employment Group is hiring a Manufacturing Tech for a company in Green Bay, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity on 1st shift.

Manufacturing Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Troubleshoot and repair automated, electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Support industrial robots, including setup, adjustments, and basic programming
- Work with 3-axis Cartesian, 6-axis, and collaborative robots, including ABB, FANUC, KUKA, and UR
- Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, drives, servo motors, heating circuits, and HMI systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and assist with equipment startups, changeovers, installations, and improvements
- Support injection molding automation, including part removal, conveyors, vision systems, and EOAT
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Document repairs, maintenance, and equipment changes

Manufacturing Tech Requirements:

- High school diploma required
- Technical degree/certification in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or Electromechanical Technology preferred
- Hands-on experience or training with robot programming and troubleshooting required

- Experience with ABB, FANUC, KUKA, or UR robots preferred

- Experience with plastic injection molding automation preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment IND
