Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

The Mechanical Assembler will operate within a small team across manufacturing plants, workshops, and field installations, focusing on assembling mechanical components with precision and reliability. This role requires hands-on assembly, thorough quality inspections, and the operation of various tools and equipment, alongside advanced maintenance and troubleshooting duties. Occasional travel to different assembly sites is expected, supporting production targets and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components according to specifications and blueprints
• Perform quality inspections to ensure adherence to standards
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Interpret and utilize blueprints for accurate assembly
• Conduct advanced equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
• Support production activities and improve assembly processes
• Collaborate within a small team environment
• Travel occasionally to field installation sites as required

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly
• Technical Diploma in Mechanical Technology or related field
• Proficiency with mechanical assembly, hand and power tools
• Strong blueprint interpretation skills
• Knowledge of quality control and safety procedures
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
