Job SummarySupervise and coordinate the activities of production workers at Jabil Inc.'s CVG
200 402 facility to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.
- Oversee daily production schedules and assign tasks to production team members.
- Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor production staff on new procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap rates, and labor hours.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control, engineering, and maintenance, to optimize production flow.
- Conduct performance reviews for team members and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment in compliance with 5S principles.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and attendance.
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality control systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate, train, and develop a diverse team.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
