Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer Intern supports the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to enhance quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity. This role provides hands‑on experience working with cross‑functional teams to implement process improvements, troubleshoot production challenges, and support operational excellence initiatives.
Responsibilities- Assist in evaluating manufacturing processes, workflows, and equipment to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
- Collect, analyze, and report production data to support process optimization, capacity planning, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to implement and sustain process enhancements.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities related to production issues, equipment performance, and product quality concerns.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including work instructions, process flows, standard operating procedures, and project reports.
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Experience with Microsoft Excel, CAD software, data analysis tools, and Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
